Esther Dorcas Wong, a classically trained musician, strongly influenced by traditional music all over the world especially Asian traditional music and also contemporary electronic music. All the musical influences finally result in the production of INFUSION, blending various culture's musical elements and various musical style into one album. Inspired by the multi-cultural aspect from New Zealand where different culture coexist in harmony, INFUSION is a musical representation of that. In this album, you can hear many traditional instruments fused with electronica beats and effects. But beware! Your ears might fool you, an Erhu might be playing an Indian raga scale. So would you still consider that as Indian or Chinese music?
